This Health Data Privacy Policy explains how LocalFixer (the "App"/"Platform"), owned and operated by ORVIL STUDIOS ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, stores, protects and shares your personal and health information, including data linked through your Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA). This policy is aligned with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the applicable data protection laws of India, and the ABDM Health Data Management Policy. By using the Digital Health features of LocalFixer, you agree to this policy.
1. Scope
This policy applies specifically to health-related data processed through LocalFixer's Digital Health vertical and our integration with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) building blocks. General app data is also covered by our overall Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Account & profile data: name, mobile number, email, location, and provider verification details.
- ABHA data: your ABHA number/address and verification status, only when you choose to create or link your ABHA in the app.
- Health records: health information fetched or shared only after you grant explicit consent, used solely for the purpose you consented to (e.g. a consultation).
- Identity verification: for service providers, identity/KYC data. We do not store your full Aadhaar number — only verified status and masked details (last 4 digits) where required.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create or link and verify your ABHA within the app.
- To enable consent-based viewing and sharing of your health records with a verified provider you select.
- To provide, match and improve health and home services you request.
- To comply with legal obligations and ABDM requirements.
4. Consent
Your health records are accessed and shared strictly on a consent-driven basis. Every consent you grant is explicit, time-bound, purpose-limited and revocable. You can review and withdraw consent at any time through your ABHA / consent manager or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent stops future processing for that purpose.
5. Data Sharing
We share health information only with the verified provider you explicitly select, and with ABDM-designated entities (such as Health Information Providers/Users and consent managers) as required to deliver the service. We do not sell your data or use health data for advertising. Disclosure to authorities is made only where required by law.
6. Data Security
Health data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We apply access controls, the principle of data minimisation, and reasonable security practices and procedures as required under applicable law. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, and you are responsible for protecting your login credentials.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain personal and health data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, and update your data, to manage and withdraw consents, and to request deletion of your account, in accordance with applicable laws and the ABDM Health Data Management Policy.
